PRIVATES

Private sessions are personalized, one-on-one instruction, that focus on your body and your goals. These sessions are meant to build your practice and elevate your experience, so you feel amazing going about daily life. We recommend continuing private sessions until you are able to set up equipment without assistance, and are familiar with your workout. Advanced clients benefit from this one-on-one instruction to improve precision, add variety or new techniques, work on specific issues, or rehabilitate from injuries.

SEMI-PRIVATES

Recommended after a private practice is established, semi-private sessions are the next level for challenging your mind and body connection, as well as increasing your practice style and speed. For semi-private sessions, two clients work with one instructor for 50-55 minutes. These sessions are lively, motivating, and fun while also being effective for your fitness goals. If performed 2-3 times each week, semi-private sessions deliver with visible body changes, improved energy levels, and lasting results.

EQUIPMENT + REFORMER

Reformer/Equipment sessions last for 55 minutes, and require 3 participants. The composition of these sessions uses various studio apparatuses and equipment pieces (reformers, cadillacs, chairs, light weights, etc.). To participate in one of these sessions, the client(s) must have the private-foundation - that is, familiarity with the names and order of the exercises, and knowledge of proper equipment setup.

MAT

Mat sessions last for 50 minutes, and class sizes range from 3 to 8 participants. Mat work is the original movement system that Joseph Pilates created. The Mat philosophy focuses on training the mind and body to work toward the goal of overall fitness. Mat sessions will tone and lengthen muscles to help build your core strength and are as effective as the work done on equipment. These sessions are an economical way to build your Pilates practice or enhance your workout routine.

“Pilates is exercise. It is the method of body conditioning that trains the mind and body to work together toward the goal of overall fitness.”

— Joseph H. Pilates
